  •  As I understand it, this repeals none of the (5+ / 0-)

    sequester; it simply reallocates some funds. The total required to be cut under sequestration hasn't changed.

      but since the idea of across the board cuts without discretion was the heart of the sequester, I do think it amounts to repealing a fundamental aspect.

      Sadly, the debate was never about cuts vs no cuts. It was always about what kind of cuts.

      Nothing human is alien to me.

      . . .But he gave away the part of the sequester with the most impact, the obvious immediate impact on people with a voice.

      If we are going to elect Democrats, lets elect real ones!

      . . . the entire 'intent' of the Grand Bargain was to provide the Administration 'cover' so that they could cut Social Security and Medicare (but under the guise that they are doing so in order to meet Republicans' demands.)

      Can't imagine that the Administration would ever consider 'undoing' this situtation, after they worked so hard to create it.  ;-)
