but I at least would have forgiven much if he cut a good deal in December 2012.

    He did not.

    •  IF we propose to create 20 million jobs (0+ / 0-)

by returning to New Deal levels of infrastructure spending.....

And let the GOP kill it, we could run on that, possibly clean up in the 2010 mid terms.

But we didnt. We didnt do that in 2012, and we're not doing it in 2014.

I think its a new style of triangulation. If we had actually created 20 million jobs, Dems would be heroes. There would be no Tea Party of any consequence. We wouild have set the example for the EU, problems in Greece would be minor.

We would have added 2-3 years of SS Solvency.

Median Household income wouldn't have dropped from 50k to 45k in 3-4 years.

What we learned from FDR's first term is the stimulus wasnt enough. What we learned from the 2009 stimulus is that it wasn't even comparable to FDR's first term stimulus

      I can accept that
      Ahhhhhh.... no I can't.
Yes, we are on the way back — not by mere chance, not by a turn of the cycle. We are coming back more soundly than ever before because we planned it that way, and don't let anybody tell you differently.
FDR Speech at the Citadel (23 October 1935)
This economy was planned this way, and don't let anybody tell you differently.

.................expect us......................... FDR 9-23-33, "If we cannot do this one way, we will do it another way. But do it we will.
