... until joanneleon just posted it in reply to my previous comment.  I still have to finish watching the series.

The "full cast of characters" that got us to where we are today have each played roles in screwing things up, including Democrats who share some of the blame, too.

For me, the more important concern is the fact that our Cretinous Congress Critters (who are supposed to have the more important role in government since they're covered in Article I) have not repealed the illegal and unconstitutional legislation.  I want us to have all of our rights AND habeas corpus back.  We've had habeas corpus rights since June 1215, fer pete's sake.  MCA '06 (and Obama's extension of same with MCA '09) have taken away habeas corpus without just cause (only two provisions in the Constitution provide for suspension of habeas corpus, but that's understood as temporary, not permanent)..., and the Bushistas conceived the idea of taking habeas corpus rights entirely away!  True, SCOTUS (even the numbskulls) declared that null and void, but the fact remains that Congress has not officially repealed that law to give us back habeas corpus, nor have they talked about repealing the Patriot Act that took so many other rights away, or FISA fiasco '08 that spies on all of us with only the say-so of the prez or his representative.

Serious violations of our constitutional rights, and that MUST stop.

I'm sick of attempts to steer this nation from principles evolved in The Age of Reason to hallucinations derived from illiterate herdsmen. ~ Crashing Vor
