So was the premise for the Bay of Pigs invasion. And then there's "Remember the Maine!"

In 1976, Adm. Hyman Rickover of the U.S. Navy mounted yet another investigation into the cause of the Maine disaster. His team of experts found that the ship's demise was self- inflicted--likely the result of a coal bunker fire.
The USA has been at the "false flag" thing a long time. Bush 43 was so comfortable with it that he actually suggested painting a U-2 spy plane in UN insignia and flying it over Iraq, the idea being that if the Iraqis shot at it, we could use that as the pretext to start the war.

    Think about that one.

The US Navy was at it late in Bush 43's rule, when they overdubbed video of ships and boats with the jokester "Filipino Monkey's" radio transmissions, in order to stoke a war with Iran.

Someone will try it again someday, and given the state of our press and the public's awareness, they just might succeed again.

Government and laws are the agreement we all make to secure everyone's freedom.
