Diana--thanks. This is a lovely vingnette; your movement, very quickly, through the stages of hightening sexual attraction is done so skillfully.

As an actual Cajun, I approve of the menu!!

One of Cajun Papa's helpers had labeled all the dishes neatly: Jambalaya; Dirty Rice; Spring Lettuce Salad; Beltane Marigold Custard; Tante Linda's Fig Cake.
May we all enjoy good harvests.

    Thanks again.

I wanted to see whether I could, um, get people's motors going, so to speak, without getting into actual details.

I wanted to do this because I'm so tired of reading chick lit in which EVERYTHING is described--not one little squirmy detail is omitted.  Having Been There and Done That, I do not need to have every detail described.

Speaking as a writer, my motto is:  "Make the reader's imagination work for you!"  Readers can imagine far more exciting things than I ever could, so I like to just "plant" an idea and let the reader do the work.  ;)
