    this hurts smaller online retailers the most.  This is not mom and pop vs Evil CEOs.  Amazon and Ebay will be fine.  Who is really going to struggle are smaller online shops that already have trouble competing with Amazon and cannot simply raise prices to pass on the cost of compliance.

    If you want to support mom and pop buy from them locally or buy from them online, but don't make this into some story about big rich online companies and small mom and pop brick and mortar stores.   This hurts smaller companies the most - including the mom and pop brick and mortar stores who are buying a lot of goods online who will now pay more for those same goods.

    This is wealth distribution up from the lower and middle classes to the wealthy by advantaging bigger corporations who are better suited to adapt to these new rules.

    We have the elite, smart people on our side.
