    The guys who are controlling the DCCC and HMP are highly focused on Nancy Pelosi being the next speaker of the house.  I will say that there is very little coordination between the different committees.  The DNC chair is not "in charge" of anything regarding the other committees except for events during the national convention.  They may not do everything right, but they are highly focused on getting 218 democratic house members.

    •  They are vested in helping incumbents (0+ / 0-)

      and safe districts, not so much new candidates if purple districts.  Their job is to get Democrats elected.  That is the job of the DNC and all the state Democratic parties.  They should help all Democratic candidates and find candidates to run in all offices.  The republicans do.
