    •  I'm about half-way through. She's DESTROYING (2+ / 0-)

him.  He's a dead man, kaput, end and over, all she wrote.

He can't even get to the right of her.  She's got him outgunned on every single point, and is responding both to what he says and what he's insinuating while delivering points he has NO response for, and she's doing it all in independent infinitely re-playable 30 second spots.

Fuckin hell, she's a master at this.  This is what happens when a Colbert takes the world seriously.

I will say I don't like some of her policies, but I LOVE watching her dominate this debate, and I look forward to watching her in future ones.

      •  She reminds me a bit of Sen. Warren (0+ / 0-)

        Warren / Busch 2016!

I feel silly typing it, but remember  Pres. Obama only served one term in the Senate.  And who doubts the buzz an all X Chromosome Progressive ticket would create?

        •  We need Warren in the Senate (0+ / 0-)

I agree we need good candidates moving up the ladder, but we also need them in the House and Senate, staying long enough to have seniority and power.

          •  But she's against drug legalization (0+ / 0-)

and that's the sole issue I vote on!!!

Seriously, I kinda despise smokers who think this way.  Such people are honestly willing to hand the country to kooks like the Pauls in the hopes that they'll be able to buy weed in stores rather than in the park next to the store.

Sorry, tangent.  I love Warren.  At this point, I'd be very happy to have either of these fine ladies in the Squished Round Room.

I would love to see this in my lifetime.  However, I have a feeling we're gonna get double-barrelled Mama Grizzlies before this occurs.

... a funny and a wise thing to say:

This is what happens when a Colbert takes the world seriously.
Makes me laugh and then go "A-ha." I hate her stance on Right to Work, but that's the way it is down here. It will take years to un-brainwash some of these people. On the other hand, her unequivocal defense for Marriage Equality and Choice was a breath of fresh air and something I thought impossible at this time in SC-01 (at least for a winner).

I would tip you, but the man took away my tips.

        •  Thanks. (0+ / 0-)

I just love how focused she is.  Obviously, she's sharper than her brother, and she's as serious and direct as he is sarcastic and ironic.  I really cannot wait to see her talk again...

          This is love.
