    That the President runs judicial nominations by senators from a state that is to be within the judge's jurisdiction.  If the Lynch Mob doesn't want to play along, end the custom.

      Prolonged and grueling vetting, followed by a filibuster?  If the home state Senator isn't on board, your nomination isn't going to get anywhere.

        Then publicly humiliate the bastards.  The point is, you don't just shrug your shoulders and slink away.  The 'pubs are doing this crap because they know they can and the President won't hit back at them.
