    discerning, and that's why the type of propaganda peddled to them (us) is a little more elaborate.  But at the end of the day the results are similar:

    It fools people into believing that important issues are being addressed.

    And it riles people's emotions by over-covering dastardly acts and stupid statements by the loonies on the right.

    In the meantime, the real menace to our Republic stay below the radar, pretty much.

    Regarding the echo chamber effect, you see it here.  Just do a survey of the last 50 topics and you're going to see an overwhelming focus on stupid, mean, evil, and dangerous things Republicans are doing (or saying).

      In other words, we're not as stupid as they are, but we're still pretty damn stupid?

      Sorry Ray, but again, I think that most of us would agree that, in the entirety, no network (including MSNBC) covers issues that they should cover to the extent that they should cover them. However, it doesn't follow that MHP, Chris Hayes, Rachel Maddow, and the like are distributing "elaborate propaganda."
