  •  I got the Nelsons confused all the time (0+ / 0-)

I knew Florida Nelson from Nebraska Nelson easily but repeatedly called the wrong one Bill or Ben.

    •  It's the Kings that baffle me. (0+ / 0-)

I can never keep track of which is which; one is a pretty bland guy, the other one is a hate-fueled firebrand.  Messy.

      •  I never mix up the Kings; they're both awful (4+ / 0-)

Peter King is a terrorist apologist, let's not forget, in addition to competing with Steve King in the "Biggest Islamophobe" contest.

British guy with a big interest in US politics; -1.88, -4.05. A liberal, a moderate and a conservative walk into a bar. The bartender says "Hey Mitt".

I hadn't known that Peter King was no better.

Very confusing.  They should be required to all change their middle names to something reflecting their worldviews.  "Steve Xenophobe King," "Michelle Infowars Bachmann."  Multiple middle names could be permissible!  "John Grandpa San Diego McCain."

In response to them killing 600 civilians, he said "If civilians are killed in an attack on a military installation, it is certainly regrettable, but I will not morally blame the IRA for it."

Steve King is undoubtedly more insane, but I think Peter King is the worst human being, marginally.

is good on a few issues, like some labor issues.  Steve King is a bad person in general.  He thinks that it would be wrong to stop dog-fighting, for example, because it would show that we have too little value for human life, or some bullshit like that.

        •  What's really scary is that Peter King is (0+ / 0-)

starting to sound reasonable, even statesmanlike, in comparison to his fellow Republicans.

A rather boring Independent Senator from Maine.

Republicans are far more socialist than Democrats. Just because they want to redistribute the wealth upwards does not make it any better.
