    And that's only in some neighborhoods. In most neighborhoods every house is one of those teensy-weensy little Bungalows they loved building in the 20s.

    My block actually had both a duplex and an apartment building on it, but it also had seven single-family homes.

    By Metro Detroit's standards Detroit Proper is a built-up, dense, urban area. By NYC's standards Detroit is it's own suburb.
