  •  Season Adjustment? (2+ / 0-)

It just seems like too much coincidence that this has happened for the fourth year in a row. I understand that some figures are not seasonally adjusted, but could warmer  seasons be moving activity?

I repeatedly claimed that Obama would never propose cuts to social security. I was wrong. Then again, I also claimed, repeatedly, that Rick Perry would win the 2012 Election, and that The Supreme Court would overturn Health Care Reform.

in 2010.  Gridlock and Republican caused debt crises in 2011.   Not sure what it was last year.  Hard to know why.

    •  All figures from BLS and ADP are seasonally... (6+ / 0-)

...adjusted, although you can also look at non-seasonally adjusted figures as well.

Don't tell me what you believe, show me what you do and I will tell you what you believe.

    •  Policies in place maintain this landscape (3+ / 0-)

& have for 4+ years. There simply should be no expectations that GDP growth will average better that 2% in a year. Job creation will stay just at or slightly above the increase in the workforce of about 1.1% or 130k per month....maintain the pool of un(der)employed at 20-26 million.

2009 thru 2012 we averaged about 1.45% GDP growth, I really see nothing on the horizon that will improve things significantly.

.................expect us......................... FDR 9-23-33, "If we cannot do this one way, we will do it another way. But do it we will.
