    Sometimes I think you might have the hardest job in the media, writing these stories for Daily Kos labor. It's easier to be angry, snarky, glib, or dismissive than to confront these sad corporate atrocities. It's hard for me to see all this pyramid of consumerism we've built crushing the lives of the world's poorest. Corporate responsibility is an oxymoron, because corporations are simply not people, no matter what Scalia and his cohort think. It is so hard to watch my country, once a shining beacon for the world, turn into such crap, where exceptionalism means they weren't making clothes for us at that moment.
