out of necessity to keep some semblance of sanity in my state I have voted for the lesser of two evils. A Republican will win no matter what - always figured an attempt to get the least conservative freak in there was helpful. Not anymore - the Republican party is in bizarro land, and in the last 5 or 6 years could not find anything reasonable or normal or vote worthy of any R candidate. Jim Risch (most conservative Senator-Not Making Waves) is worried about a challenge from the right? WTF.

      But that was before W.

Repub party will never come back to the middle-right now.

The moderates have been replaced by conservatives and the conservatives have been replaced by Libertarians.

I actually voted for Jerry Moran as my rep twice. He's now my Senator and has completely jumped the shark into idiot land. Now, I would not vote for a Kansas Republican if my life depended on it.
I wrote in "Mickey Mouse" rather than cast a vote for Tim Huelskamp last year.
