    asked about whether there were people here at the time of the last floods have said 'maybe." It is probably within the time frame of when this area was populated as I understand but any traces of artifacts would have been destroyed. However, if they were behind the dam of Lake Missoula, or above the flood levels,  there should be evidence.
    What is your take on when the plateau was inhabited?
