...the inimitable Popehat. While I may not always agree with the political leanings of the authors (some of them are downright wacky, though all at least are very much small-l libertarians, also known as sane libertarians), they never fail to provide an insightful reading of often obscure laws. The link to their discussion is here, but I really do have to love this comment in particular:

I've now written myself well out of contention for any position of public authority anywhere, anywhen. But this sort of order makes me think that if I ever became a judge I could still have fun.

    Enjoy. Judge Biery did.

(If you think Judge Biery's humor is adolescent, you haven't seen what judges and attorneys are like when they're being serious. Plus Footnote 5 is masterful.)

And the "Footnote 5" of which he speaks?
"gen•tle•man...n...2. A polite, gracious or considerate man having high standards of propriety or correct behavior." WEBSTER'S II DICTIONARY 526 (New Riverside Univ. ed. 1984). The term is loosely used in this context.
I may or may not have almost died laughing.

Carry the battle to them. Don't let them bring it to you. Put them on the defensive and don't ever apologize for anything. -Harry S. Truman / -8.00, -6.77
