    As to hot headed, no, not really. I don't have respect for your judgments based on lack of experience.

    As to asking the protestors about black bloc (which isn't a monolithic entity, but rather a tactic of various groups wearing black clothing), Occupy (which I've participated in) has had numerous discussions about the topic. I'm well aware of what most protestors feel. Your friend's anecdotal experience does not mean a lot. Depends on the event, and who was involved... as well as your friends assumptions (or not), and your own filtering (or not) of the information. One anecdote isn't enough to make sweeping pronouncements about every group or incident that occurs, and doesn't make you or your friend an expert.

    I'm assuming you're like many here and that you have little experience with the contemporary protest movement.

    And mojo? Really? What silliness. I've lost everything. Losing dkos mojo isn't much of a threat. I have nothing to apologize for, but you, on the other hand, with your quick insults and judgements about issues you have no experience with is another question.
