    don't understand that the burden of proof is on them, either. Which is why they insist on being able to extract confessions from people.
    Of course, when people are lacking a sense of time and can't track the logical sequence of events or perceive cause/effect connections, it's quite reasonable that they can't develop proof.

    For example, the prosecution not getting the sequence right is what let O.J. Simpson off the hook.
