    They still got the shaft because the status quo was already that.

    BRICS, actually, stepped up to the plate because (at the time) they actually had some political muscle, but it's the under-developed and developing countries that really take it in the pants particularly on farm subsidies to Agro MNCs that kill commodity prices poor farmers subsist on, and given the state of the world economy now, that is not going to change soon.

    So, yeah, pigs will fly first. Or float down the river as the case may be.

      That's how the whole system was designed in the first place.  :)

      Changing it will not be easy.  It will be long, it will be hard, it very likely will be bloody and costly.

      But it must be done.  There simply is no alternative.
