    The story seemed forced and the characters stretched to fit the story rather than allowed to "be themselves". Good thing Granny wasn't in there - she wouldna put up with it.

    I've been wondering whether the recent novels have not relied on co-authors more than before, who may have different styles and priorities.

    Oh and at least one thing I liked about Snuff: parts were clearly a parody of a Jane Austen novel, except that Vimes was allowed to knock some sense into the Austenesque ninnies.
