    law enforcement community too.

    Not generalizing LEOs, but there seems to be a trend of command allowing and fostering an occupation mentality.

      They did in CLE in Nov 2012. The police murdered 2 people because they could.

      FUCK the police. They don't work for me.

      there was such a strong training emphasis on respecting people's rights and making a strong case (meaning no slip-ups on procedure or abuse which would undermine the case in court).

      These days, the security state mentality is affecting far too many.  I actually know several officers here and they are all fine people. However, too many hours on the job can give anyone group think.

        where there is questionable (blatant) misbehavior, I first look at command.  These incidents do not happen in a vacuum.  They are fostered by a political environment and willingness to cut corners and lack of training due to the fact that they'd rather have the toys than the training.
