    that women perceive the magnolia scent differently from men?

    I've heard that, and I've always wondered how that worked.

      ...of the University of Oslo contends that women have a 'better' sense of smell/taste (the two are inter-related) and studies at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology bear him out. It is quite possible that this is an evolutionary trait, possibly involving child care, or food preparation, etc.

      The fact that women can detect odours that men can't is a proven fact - still, they could have skipped all the research and just asked my Mother! :)
