Continue to stand up straight and tall. You have a lot of friends here @DK sending you positive vibes.

Diaries like this can lead to ideas, outside perspectives, things maybe you hadnt considered, and thats why its s a good idea.

    •  For the record, I've never been wrong. (0+ / 0-)

There was that one time. Where I thought I might be wrong, but turned out I wasn't. Other than that...

Seriously your idea is Necessary. And needs to be repeated and picked up as a refrain. I'm not joking.

        LOL.

The dairy you linked to, there is a poll, 50% said they thought it was a great idea. On average, it received an 8, on a 1-10 scale.

I think it would crush the Tea Party and reduce the GOP to moderates only. Thanks for your kind words.

I've been writing that dairy for about 2 years, in various forms here @DK.

So I guess I should rewrite it & republish...

The President is on a New Jobs tour, but truthfully it isn't nearly enough. He's had a few proposals which show awareness of the need, but we need to push the topic, and the real fix, into the foreground.

I think back to when his Economic Council rec'd doing a $1.8T stimulus, and the people around him said "not practical" and so the Council pulled it down to $1.2T, and the Admin. then asked for $750-800B. Less than half of the objective requirement. Thinking that was pragmatism.

The actual practical thing though, outside the DC Bubble, would have been to demand $3T stimulus and see it whittled down to $1.xT.

Ah well, I could go on for pages. You don't need an explanation from me about the obvious political advantages of offering real-world solutions and having Republicans counter with "No jobs for you!"
