  •  I once designed a brochure as a resume (1+ / 0-)

for a former friend. I took a full length picture and then did call outs like a product. Then I wrote the necessary copy some tongue in cheek and some serious. He beat out 10 candidates for the job all because of one brochure targeted at one VP.

I don't design much these days, but for those fellow freelancers , you should make a resume as a brochure about yourself as a downloadable PDF and use a program like Fireworks to break it up in slices to put in online if you aren't HTML savvy.

Your market would probably middle to high income earners to independent reps who wouldn't think twice about spending a $1000 or more on a brochure to get a job.

Design is getting to be a horrible profession. I have a friend who did a huge job for a Fortune 500 company. He called after 90 days of no pay. The guy answered "well we decided not to use it, but if we do , we'll pay the invoice". At one time he was billing a million a year to this account.

The Brochure idea might be helpful until the $6.99 /hour crowd get ahold of it
