    I  believe this expansion is going to be the dominant issue in 2014. I believe it will be bigger than whatever deal if reached on the phony budget crisis.

    When hospitals and other monied medical interests failed to capture funds in those states without the expansion, then people are not going to be happy with the results. There will be no place to hide as there will be a clear contrast with those citizens well served in neighboring states.

    Dems will not be able to run silent or away from the issue either as it will become increasingly clear which path is the correct one.

    The ACA is not the monster that Dems have allowed it to be portrayed as and the moment of truth is coming, finally.

    I think Secretary Sebelius is going to end up being the most consequential member of the Cabinet when all is said and done. I would also suggest that she should be in the conversation about 2016.

    The politicians may be bought, and the system corrupt, but it is our duty to fix these things.
