  •  Really? This is important? (0+ / 0-)

Obama wasn't born in Illinois, Hillary Clinton wasn't born in New York, Joe Biden wasn't born in Delaware, Nancy Pelosi wasn't born in California, etc, etc, etc.

    This is a nonsense issue.

The tent got so big it now stands for nothing.

    •  Agreed - this is simple tribalism (0+ / 0-)

Recent diaries have noted this problem on DailyKos (using the site as a platform for promoting tribalism rather than progressivism).  We could use less diaries like this.

Obama didn't get defeated in Illinois and then go try again in Hawaii.

I did always think it was....odd that Hillary Clinton got to hand-pick NY to run.

    •  not if Brown LIED about where he was born! (1+ / 0-)

whassup with that?  he can't get another pass, can he?

Last month, Scott Brown raised speculation about running in New Hampshire during a visit to the state, claiming that he had been born there. It turns out that he was actually born in neighboring Kittery, Maine, however.

      •  Triple B lied about the lie he was born at PNY (1+ / 0-)

Does anyone really believe that his mother birthed him actually at the Portsmouth Naval Yard? That would be relatively easy to check. I'm sure it's not that common for a baby to be born at PNY in the first place.

I would put this lie right up with the ones about how he stopped drinking and the one during a debate with Elizabeth Warren where he claimed he had been defending women since he was six years old.
