one Sac-Bee article, they get it, and it is way worse than anything  Dan Bacher has described even..

and the Humboldt (county) Times Standard

    both links here

they are getting it, and regionally they are getting it,

But the tribes are way on the job, I am seeing a regional response to this divisive problem.
Already the development, oh wait, 'Farming' interests are whining about the divisive opposition.
These interests are farmers all right, their crop is water rights. And always have been even when their cover crop was cotton.
These guys are farmers and I am an Olympic athlete and a journalist.

the damage to the Delta and the north is horrifying. That SacBee article really stirred folks up. The DH is out there on all the articles and blogs making comments. The north tribes are all over it. For that we are grateful. I don't know how much you read on this stuff but watch out for California Farm Water Coalition/Mike Wade. He is a total mouthpiece for the tunnels. DH has been sparring with him for awhile. DH started signing his comments with the sig line "Money Goes Where Water Flows". Mike responded a few months later by creating a website pushing Kern County CA water interests with that name! My DH responded by mailing him copies of the bumper stickers we had made - Money Flows Where Water Goes" - Don't Sell Out The Delta! I have been seeing more of them around town lately! kosmail me with an snailmail address if you would like one. Otherwise, I will have a shit ton of them at NN13.

if a habitat is flooded, the improvement for target fishes increases by an infinite percentage...because a habitat suitability index that is even a tiny fraction of 1 is still infinitely higher than zero, which is the suitability of dry land to fishes.
