  •  This is making me too mad. (0+ / 0-)

I'm not mad at Issa, I'm mad at Democrats whose reaction to absurd Republican conspiracy theories is to advance the equally absurd notion that there's nothing to see here.

      •  Imagine saying that in other contexts. (0+ / 0-)

I find this all surprising, and not in a good birthday-party way.  I'll just move on and let everyone make this a Darrell Issa diary.

..."whistleblower" is saying, based on the testimony we're seen in the media, is new except for a quote about "balls" he says he was told. If there was truly some new revelation here, then maybe, maybe, there would be a case for yet another hearing. But we've been over the issue of flying fighter jets to the scene to supposedly scare off the attackers. As for the idea that four Special Forces guys would have made a big difference, I personally find that ludicrous.

What else are we being told happened that we don't already know that makes this latest hearing anything more than a Darrell Issa circus?

    •  What more is there to investigate (6+ / 0-)

      is the better question.
Imagine if the Republicans had spent this much time investigating the run up to the Iraq War and the fake claims of WMD?
