  •  Making a statement by breaking the law ? (5+ / 0-)

The statement might be , we don't care about the law ,
we have loaded guns and we are breaking the laws we don't care for ?

    •  I can't fault breaking laws. (0+ / 0-)

I mean, if no one was willing to break the laws of the nation, we wouldn't have this nation. I mean, in an odd way, unless someone actually shoots someone, this is an example of passive resistance.

And while I don't think the Second Amendment is somehow more absolute than the rest of them, I also admit that we can disagree, and this is a fair representation of the First.

and be arrested without any problem?
Or do they think that they can break the law without being arrested?

with a gun in their possession ,
will they be handing over the gun peacefully ?
Will they be fine with loosing their right to own a gun ?

Is this whole thing just a set up so that they can say ,
          Obama took my gun ?

knowingly and willfully is fine with you ?
What if they decide to fire off all the guns , not in a way that harms anyone , are you ok with that ?

Crimes commented with a gun often carry a higher penalty .
Crimes where no one was hurt by the firing of the gun , merely having it while committing the crime is thought to be a greater crime .

Being an upstanding gun owner is thought to mean not breaking laws .

instead , I would have said they were making a huge mistake .
If these people who wish to march into Washington DC , sans permit , with loaded guns in violation of the rules ,
would handcuff themselves the the fence instead ,
I'd have no problem with that .
But that's not what they are saying they are going to do .
