My wife is a very small person.  Her lifetime adult weight range is roughly 94 to 115 lbs.  Some years ago, she visited Samoa.  Samoans are often VERY large people - the reason they are over-represented in NFL interior line positions.  Inter-island flights are mostly on relatively small planes, so they weigh each passenger to aid in balancing the plane.  Preparing to board a flight, my wife presented herself to be weighed.  The Samoans running the operation took a look at her, started to do the usual procedure, then just broke up laughing - they found the idea of someone her size quite comical and just waved her by - figuring someone her size wasn't going to affect things one way or the other, I guess.
