    I did not look at all of them because I did not want to sign up for the Insider Monkey page. I doubt that many hedge funds make all their holdings public.

    What one can do legally and what one does morally and ethically are often different.

    Certainly legally, he could do whatever he wants, park it overseas, close companies and sell the assets, etc. But I would bet the farm on Al Gore being honest and doing what he says. He has certainly put a lot of money where his mouth is; in fact, he gets a lot of grief here in TN for doing just that.

      immoral about making it easier for non-US persons to invest in US hedge funds.  As I said over and over again during the Romney stuff, it's actually worse for the US person to have offshore investments, and there's very little and probably no loss to the US treasury for the foreign investors.
