Essentially you have a broadcast interviewer who has a producer do most of the background, setup and investigative work which provides background and questions to the interviewer, perhaps to make them more well versed on a topic they may know nothing about before the assignment.

Regardless, these Broadcast reporters are well up in the 1% and have little or no touch except with the occasional interviews they do with the rest of us. They are graded on how well they act when showing sympathy and empathy.

Most broadcast news readers and interviewers that fall in the elite status make millions a year. They also have limited backgrounds on subjects of import. I wouldn't call it Propaganda as that gets too close to a conspiracy theory.

Greed for money and notoriety tends to produce alliances of similar interests and convenience.

People who may have manipulative intentions know that money and notoriety can draw people in and the threat of the loss of the same can keep them in. Wanna scare a wealthy person? Tell them they have no money nor relevance. But there are too many offsets where no one can speak with one voice from many voices.

Goebbels would probably say "It's a start...but it's not propaganda yet"

The idea being there is still time to fix this. But language is important. We can't go full Alex Jones at the risk of being marginalized. We care about change. Alex Jones cares about profit.
