    Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.)was among the few senators of either party who refused to go after the Justice Department just yet. "I want to see the details -- what was their rationale, why did they do it -- before offering an opinion," he told reporters. "For me to rush to a judgment without knowing all the facts is just not appropriate."
    now who does that sound like?? I happen to agree too but it still strikes me as hilarious irony in light of the shitstorm meta going on here this morning (& last night). Ha!

    {sorry, just couldnt help myself!}

        try redstate.

        I'm shocked how quickly some people-you aren't alone-have CONCLUDED that this definetely happened as reported. The news is new. Should suspend judgement to see if it's real.

        The Republicans hate Obama to the extent they gleefully lie through their teeth, overtly block people from voting etc. They lined up lockstep on his first Innaugaration Day to set out to make him fail. This could be an attempt of theirs.

        We need to wait this out given the sad state of Republicans now. They are blinded by hate and will do anything to smear Obama. We need more data.

        okay I should quit now... I generally try to keep my nose from getting out of joint with all the crazy pie on GOS but this recent bit is just beyond absurd. We are all somehow "red state" thugs - ban them!! - because we are "purity trolls" for defending freedom of the press, lolol. The calls for the banning of anyone who dares to question or object....oy.... they'll have to "ban" Reid and a bunch of other Dem pols too.
        "I have trouble defending what the Justice Department did," Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) told reporters on Capitol Hill. "I really believe in the First Amendment. I think it's one of the great things we have as a country. I don't know who did it, why it was done, but it's inexcusable. There's no way to justify this."

        Reid added that he would "look further into whether more legislative action is needed in this regard to secure freedom of the press."

        This overblown meme that all the critics are "promoting" IMPEACHMENT is ridiculous. Just like we also all believe that all cops are hellbent willing to commit mass murder. Meh. Silly games. Personally I hope to see a formal investigation wrt the AP thing, at the very least.

          evidence of the author's inability to say anything substantive or rational on the topic at hand.
