    I am not into to sexting or things like that, but keeping it clean could become such a subjective tool to bludgeon a life with.

    Define "clean".

    No controversy?
    Never talk about Sex at all?
    Never talk about politics or religion etc.,?
    Don't post art--who knows who might think what you did is dirty?

    I just don't see that as any more of an answer to this issue, than say, Abstinence Only classes for teens.

    We obviously need laws that protect our online privacy better from commercial entities and the government.

    Clean is the bandaid.

    Respecting Privacy is the real solution.

        prone to controversy, and occasionally stick my hoof in my mouth.

        Given our new laws about allowing surveillance and collection of every phone call, every e-mail, I suggest you amend that to,

        Don't have any thoughts, you wouldn't want me to know about.

        That way, it will make it easier for them to conform to this new Big Brother Surveillance and Little Brother Internet Mobbings.
