    was actually worse than the worst thing I have seen on stage:  Westport Playhouse's ill thought out production of a Tennessee Williams' play, "Orpheus Descending" which even Williams knew sucked.

    Two of the worst aspects of that production are perfect metaphors for Issa's demented "production."

    1.  A cheated on wife pulling a full bore blow torch out of her 1950s vintage handbag to torch her cheating husband; and

    2.  The mistress's line:  "Doom, doom and destruction.  All that is left is the skin of the snake."

    One needed to see it to be as horrified as I was -- but, actually, Issa's hearings are damned close.
