everyone here who is reasonable to think your diary is idiotic or not. If you merely delete reference to treason, the diary ain't bad. As it is, the word idiotic comes to mind. Up to you though.

    •  IMO, charges of "cover-up" (5+ / 0-)

-- attempting to categorize Benghazi -- whatever the hell happened -- as equal to Watergate FOR PURELY POLITICAL REASONS is treasonous.

A few Repubs have got the bit in their mouth, US media is obediently responding, and this is going to get nasty before it gets better.

This brouhaha is nothing more than Repubs throwing ANYTHING against the wall that might stick to try to re-gain influence after the 11/12 election embarrassment.

It's distracting the national dialogue from the Newtown/guns issue, the wealth/income discrepancy issue, the refusal of corporations to invest in employment of American workers at home, the ongoing Wall Street-caused recession, and 40% of Americans existing below the poverty line -- what Congress SHOULD BE talking about.

      IOW -- BULLSHIT.

Americans who vote against their own interests are driven by "the human need to find a strand of significance that will hold everything together that isn't on TV..." (quote is from P. Roth in "Sabbath's Theater")
