    more progressive?  in your dreams - while it does improve a few things like pre-existing conditions, it is far, far from "progressive".   It basically ensures a citizen can buy insurance from a for profit company.  If you're bank account is tapped out (which if very likely will be) then the government will pay the for profit company for you.  Great.

    and that 80-85% that approved?  where were they in 2010 when turnout was absymal and the tea party swept into office and gave us 8 years of Boeher grid lock?

    Outlook for 2014 is even worse.  Sure, I voted for Obama twice.  Sure, I voted for Feinstein and Boxer too.

    The this post is about "where have all the young voters gone"?  down 6% in the high profile Presidential.  Very likely non-existent in the critical mid-terms.

    Why?   see above.

    Unless Obama, Reid, et. al. are struck by some kind of true believing progressive lightening and start LEADING on issues that people care about, then there will be no enthusiasm on the left and the right wing will sweep in again.

    sad, but looking more and more true.
