    and their ability to recognize BS when it's fed to them.

    PT Barnum was just unusually outspoken in his willingness to let the public know that he had no respect for them. Heritage is relying on the same ignorance and tribalism to keep its party going.

    Americans can make our country better.

      for the general population, this won't mean anything.  But it exposed their immigration reform study as bogus.  Those involved on the right know it was a failure.  This includes people on the right that would be financial backers.  At least in the short term, donors are going to think twice about donating to a group that has failed "the cause."
