  •  The unanswered questions include: (0+ / 0-)

Was there sufficient intelligence that could have been utilized to save American lives by either preventing the attack or minimizing its impact?  If not, then so be it.  But if there was, why was security not beefed up accordingly?  Alternatively, why was the compound not abandoned, if nothing better could be done?

If there were no warnings prior to the attack, once the attack was underway, were support personnel in close enough proximity that they could have been called in to help defend the compound?  Did anyone nearby actually offer support?  If so, were they ordered not to assist?  If so, by whom was the order given and why?

These are the questions we've not gotten clear answers to yet.

dangerous place in the world absolute safety.
However, it would cost a lot of money.
We might rethink where we really need our people as well.

Benghazi-gate  is absolutely just a Karl Rove, gop concoction of bullshit.

The kinds of questions you mention have already been asked and answered, or are in the process of being answered, by the responsible people.

You're just playing into their hands by even giving it a thought. It's just a gop scam.

You can't make this stuff up.

Sure, would be good to get these answers, but that will not be sufficient for the Republicans -- they are seeking something criminal, impeachable, or damaging to help them win the next election. I would rather find out WHAT can be done to better protect our Embassies. That is not on the conservative agenda -- that would take money and funding..
