over and over. The initial reports were less accurate than subsequent information. Welcome to how things works 99.9% of the time. "Fog of war" and all that.

So this warrants an infinite number of investigations? No, this is just political knife-fighting at this ppoint.

    •  So you're responding to someone (7+ / 0-)

who is calling for an infinite number of investigations? That wouldn't be me or Greenwald. Not sure how you got that from my comment.

I don't think the current Congress is capable of responsible oversight. I think Greenwald shares that opinion.

You would probably agree that Congress is unfortunately incapable of fulfilling its oversight responsibilities these days.

I do admit that is only my guess though.

How did I get there?  The only people calling for MORE investigation are the GOP.  It would seem Mr Greenwald agrees with the GOP. Since if he only wanted investigation, he should be satisfied by the ones which have to date shown no reason for MORE investigation. Yet he is not satisfied. Which leads me to wonder if he, like the GOP, wil never ever be satisfied.

Since you agree with Mr Greenwald I feel it is fair say the same applies to you. Unless, of course, you forget that this items has been investigated many times already. Which leads me to suggest to you this is not about finding information. It is about political knife fighting.

And guess what? The blades are not aimed at POTUS #44 so much as they are at influencing who will be POTUS #45.
