  •  When did the gov't lie (11+ / 0-)

I heard Mr Greenwald say the government published erroneous information. He does not say the gov't lied. Are you privvy to information not in the public domain?

As for an investigation every time the gov't publishes erroneous information . . .

This tempest in tea cup stuff.  Now we're parsing "lying" vs "erroneous."  Not the least bit surprising that the knives come out for the administration's critics.

      •  So you have no evidence of your claim. (10+ / 0-)

And oh-so-predictably, you whine about being "attacked" for being a "critic" when you have no evidence for your claim.

This "Obama's-supporters-are-attacking-me!" meme is really played out. I read an article in the Washington Times today, where the author was lamenting that "Obama's groupies" would allow no serious consideration of the administration's lies on Benghazi.

Of course he had no evidence either.

        •  Some of you just flat-out (3+ / 0-)

lose it every time there's an opportunity to post these declarative-sentences-masquerading-as-intelligent-authority. When it comes to discussing concepts like "Obama groupies", and "Glenn Greenwald" in the same thread, it's so damned obvious that A) you hate Greenwald's guts and B) you hate him because he refuses to rah-rah for this particular administration.

Of course, that's all beside the point, primarily because every last person on that show was echoing variations of these ridiculous PR-style "talking points" on Benghazi, in order to demonstrate "Fair and Balanced". It's just another reason to turn off your fucking televisions and quit giving any credence at all to any of these blowhards. Starting with Bill Maher.

          •  When someone asserts the administration lied, they (6+ / 0-)

should kindly provide evidence. You can't scream "you hate me/us/Greenwald!" because have no evidence of a claim that the administration deliberately misled the public.  Speaking of rational conversation, there's a big difference between being wrong and lying. Petulantly whining that your opponents hate you when you can't tell the difference is ridiculous.

Why would I hate Greenwald? None of what he says matters, so why would I care about him one way or another? You think I hate idiots because they don't "rah, rah" the administration? Idiots that wonder out loud whether or not this administration is going to use drones on US citizens on US soil? You think such hysteria passes for rational discourse that I "hate" because it's not cheerleading?

Whatever. Enjoy raging in the weeds with the rest of the nutters.

              You're never very convincing....

Why would I hate Greenwald? None of what he says matters,
It mattered enough that you hung around the comments and bothered to post more than a paragraph at a given time.

If you're laboring under the notion that you're fooling anyone, please disabuse yourself of such fantasy...

There's no parsing this: That's bullshit.

Not the least bit surprising that the knives come out for the administration's critics.
So you play the martyr card when you are simply wrong?

        Delicious.
