    she has a weekly dietitian-nurse therapist, that visits her

    (and annoys her, too) every week.

    Her speech has come back real well (finally!), and the cough and constant mucus has stopped, too.

    It's the dry-mouth, lack of saliva; and the hyper-sensitive taste buds, that have been very slow to rebound.

    But she keeps trying ... to get 4 teaspoons of real food a day.

    I'll ask her about "speech therapist and/or occupational therapist" next time I talk to her.  Good to know that people can recover from this.
