    didnt they target anti-war groups?Also didnt 3000 people die in a terroist attack during that time.Werent people in office held accountable?Oh wait-----

      this discussion, but "it happened under Bush" is a remarkably low bar that I'm not interested in clearing.

      The IRS didn't target anti-war groups.  They did audit the All Saints Church in Pasadena, the pastor of which told his parishioners whom Jesus would vote for, which runs afoul of rules against political activities by churches, but I wouldn't call that targeting.  They either got a complaint and responded or the church was part of the quadrennial Political Activities Compliance Initiative.
