  •  oddly, the WSJ used to be THE place where the (9+ / 0-)

suits talked to each other openly, and you could follow what corporate America really thinks.

Now it's just Fox News in a business suit----and even the corporados no longer pay any attention to it.

    •  Correct. (8+ / 0-)

Real business honchos want accurate, real-world information upon which to base decisions about their very important money. I used to read their reportage occasionally.

They used to leave the nutjobbery to the editorial page, but no more. Just today I heard about a WSJ story about the benefits of climate change (again, yawn) that turned out to have been written by two guys paid by - wait for it - oil companies! Who'da thunk it?

The serious business people I know all read the Financial Times now. The only person I know who still regularly reads the WSJ is a wingnut with no money.

"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."........ "The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little." (yeah, same guy.)
