diaries but " greatest single thing an individual can do to reduce these shorter-lived climate forcers is to reduce their consumption of meat." is pretty much utter bullshit.

I was looking all through one recently and all her links are to some Australian anti meat nutter. Like looking for info with  the Cattlemen's association, I mean really good grief.

A quick glance at someplace like EPA shows eating anything except ruminants essentially cuts methane to zip. Plus it's slightly misleading the way it's stated. One might be led to believe meat is the cause of global warming.
What started me off was the comparison of flying to meat eating. Beef and dairy equal slightly more climate changing gas than flying,,,, right now. But half the people in America didn't fly during the last year. And of those that flew half were 1 or 2 fights. So a quarter of the people in the US equal at least half the flights. Who flies more than 3 times a year? Affluent, retired, vegetarian Kossacks with lots of pets maybe?. Off to photo safari in Africa, quick weekend in Yellowstone, mom is in Miami next week, time to escape winter, the list of reasons is endless.

But back to cats and dogs. Yup huge carbon footprint. Nothing will ever be done about it. Do this test.

Look your dog in the eye, now think of someone named Koch or Exon. Who is it easier to blame? No one will ever take personal responsibility for their own actions. It's those people I disagree with, meat eaters, or conservatives, or country people on ATVs., or pickup truck drivers, never ever ever ever will affluent liberals admit they are the problem
