    Weren't these records acquired through a legal subpoena? I don't understand what the scandal is.  If the AP feel's that their rights were violated they can go to court, right?  Don't investigators use subpoenas to obtain phone records from the phone company all the time?

    It might make sense to calm down and get some more details about this situation, especially from a source other than the AP.  They're not exactly a disinterested party in this matter.
