    ...and thank you for the "less" (as opposed to "no") beef.
    The spirit is willing, but the flesh is so, so weak...
    Especially when the flesh takes the form of a fine filet, medium-rare, with butter and garlic, and a nice baked potato.

      i haven't eaten meat since 2003. it was a little tough at first but as an idealistic college kid i was very motivated. i gave up dairy and eggs completely just over a year ago. i miss pizza but it's going okay so far. i could imagine a day that my flesh might become weak someday though :-)

      i think for a lot of people committing to something like one day a week without meat is a big enough step.

      to be honest i'm becoming increasingly interested in the idea of entomophagy...that would be a very tough sell in the US, but who knows...i could see a fringe movement growing, but hard to imagine it going mainstream until agriculture totally collapses...
