Which as you know are pretty much the only kind I have, but here goes:

Should there be blogs devoted to publicizing solutions to global warming, rather than documenting the rather obvious fact of global warming?

BTW, I believe "climate change" is a Luntzism chosen because it scares people less than "global warming" - but I could be wrong.

Economics is a social *science*. Can we base future economic decisions on math?

    •  I use climate change, global warming... (6+ / 0-)

...climate chaos and climate weirding interchangeably.

Don't tell me what you believe, show me what you do and I will tell you what you believe.

    •  It just makes the consequences (5+ / 0-)

easier for some to understand. Global warming may not mean much if your local weather isn't much warmer. Just the snow fall is really breaking records while the tornadoes and hurricanes are more destructive.

That is when the news media needs to do a better job explaining that the increase in consequences is from global warming. Even with the prolonged droughts and escalating fires, they haven't been making the link to climate change or global warming.

None of these terms brings in the land destruction. The east coast has been dealing with the changes for years. Since Sandy, there has been a mix of people determined to rebuild and those that have accepted it is a battle that will be lost.

Native villages in Alaska and around the arctic have been watching the ocean come closer and closer to their homes. ~135 Alaskan villages are threatened enough they have to move, soon.
