    in any air study I've seen (and yep, I was concerned about produced chemicals myself).  They have a tendency to go in guns a blazing and find...well, some menthol (if used) and a little vegetable glycerin in the air.

    Acrolein isn't created until well past the boiling point of PG, you actually have to burn it.  If that's happening in your e-cig, you're already gagging on the terrible flavor and your wick is glowing orange.

    That will happen on a dry burn, but you aren't supposed to be sucking on the thing when dry burning it...  :-)

    It is produced in the burning end of a cigarette, however, where active ignition is taking place (and PG is a component of the cigarette as well).  

    If that's your worst concern between a cig and an e-cig, current conservative estimates are that you're at least 100 times better off with the e-cig.  Less conservative estimates say 10,000+.

    Even if it were only half as bad for you, that's still a gain.
